I BAGGED A DEGREE✨✨

 

About a month ago I completed my undergraduate studies at the prestigious Kwara state University, Malete Nigeria☺️☺️...Yeah I said prestigious and through God's help I made a first class honours in BIOCHEMISTRY!! Did you just say wow😀....Here are few things I really find so surprising and at the same time inspiring during my undergraduate study...

1. As an average student,making a first class degree out of the university was the least thing I had in mind I just wanted to graduate with my 2:1 jeje and get my certificate and go.Even my prayer points to God then was just that I wanted to make 3.something because as a new student in school,I always hear people say first class is for the genius, especially in Biochemistry before you can get a FC degree in Biochemistry you have to be this and that so I actually settled with a 2:1 too.So something happened,during our 100L first semester holiday our results came out and that was 23rd of December,2days to Christmas 🎄.....The anxiety was all over me as I couldn't check it myself I had to tell my older brother to help me😀😀.....But Lo and behold my result was there smiling at me with almost A's in every of my courses....I was shocked.But how na I could remember I only read what my brain could carry and did the little I could do but then My efforts were crowned....I was so happy though....lol

Fastforward to when we resumed back, I realise some of my coursemates already knew about my grades cos apparently they were checking into people's portal...Then the "Scholar tag" began. Sometimes I'd feel so shy to hear people call me that 😅 and on the other hand I wanted to live u up to the name but it wasn't an easy task...So I made up my mind and decided I was going to finish with that class and God made it happen

2. Being a student came with a lot of stress and it wasn't an easy journey at all..There were days of mood swings,confusion,anxiety and sapaness...But in all I was able to pull through. Another interesting  thing was that as an introvert that I think I am I made a lot of friendships and connections while I was in school...Aside the four corners of my classroom I was able to learn many other things outside Biochemistry moreso from other fields of study...

Hearing stories and Listening to other people's stories inspires me so so much.....I have friend's and people around me that are doing so well,maybe not in their field of study but they are thriving in positions they find themselves and I hope very soon I would be writing a success story and y"ll will continue to be a source of inspiration to me...Thanks for reading
