GROWTH AND MATURITY💫💫

Image
Most people believe maturity starts or begin when you start doing or behaving in some kind of ways, one of such is knowing how to control your anger.. What is usually considered a big sign of maturity is knowing how to keep quiet/holding your tongue when you angry most especially when you feel wronged. To some extent, that idealogy might be helpful but to me I realised a true sign of growth and maturity is when you are able to vocalise and express your feelings in an appropriate way and making people realise how wrong they were without being violent about it...... Would it be safe to say that, sometimes, silence is not usually the best answer...I'm saying this because of something that happened to me recently. I was at a health centre recently to take the second dose of my Covid vaccine but the vaccinator said they were out of the vaccine at the moment and I asked if I could take it somewhere else since I would be travelling back she said she was not so sure about it but I should try t...

A SWEET REUNION 🥰🥰

Image
Earlier this week, I ran into a very young lady, about 12years of age or  thereabout. She jumped and hugged me excitedly not even minding there were people looking at us because we were at a church program...I tried to reciprocate the gesture too but I couldn't really remember where exactly I knew her from, but It was obvious she knows me very well..I was about asking her for her name when the  mother walked up to us and said "Ahhh Titi that's your princess(name withheld) naw you don't recognise her again.....I was dumbfounded... When I was much more younger,I remembered I always pester my mum for a baby like a younger one not because of anything but because I wanted to carry and play with baby....But in reality, none was forthcoming...But then I was still able to carry baby ooh infact lots of them.. One of such babies was the little girl I was talking about earlier,I could remember I packed my bags to spend about a month with the mother when she was given birth to infa...

MINDSET AND LIMITATIONS✍️✍️

Image
During my secondary school days,my school had introduced further mathematics into it's curriculum and we were to start taking further mathematics as a subject starting from senior secondary school 1 As expected,we all were not so happy with the recent development because most of us were still struggling with the elementary maths now talking about furthering it,that would be tough..But the teacher taking us was relentless, he made sure he came and used his period allocated for the subject and that was usually the longest 40min of my day in school...This man should just finish this dy/dx and leave the class abeg.... lol Tests and examinations were done but trust me we failed,as a matter of fact I failed woefully in the subject that term or how else can we describe 24/100 if not a woeful failure .But then,I wasn't so sad or concerned about it since I wasn't the only with the red ink infact I was still making mouth to my parents, giving excuses as to why I had failed the subject...

I BAGGED A DEGREE✨✨

Image
About a month ago I completed my undergraduate studies at the prestigious Kwara state University, Malete Nigeria☺️☺️...Yeah I said prestigious and through God's help I made a first class honours in BIOCHEMISTRY!! Did you just say wow😀....Here are few things I really find so surprising and at the same time inspiring during my undergraduate study... 1. As an average student, making a first class degree out of the university was the least thing I had in mind I just wanted to graduate with my 2:1 jeje and get my certificate and go.Even my prayer points to God then was just that I wanted to make 3.something because as a new student in school,I always hear people say first class is for the genius, especially in Biochemistry before you can get a FC degree in Biochemistry you have to be this and that so I actually settled with a 2:1 too.So something happened, during our 100L first semester holiday our results came out and that was 23rd of December,2days to Christmas 🎄.....The anxiety was...

SIX HEALTH BENEFITS YOU ARE MISSING BY NOT HAVING ENOUGH SLEEP!!

Image
These days, it is very common for people to skip sleeping at night. In most cases, the belief is that you are lazy or you are not so serious about your life if all you do at night is to sleep and not do something productive with your night but little did we realise the health risk we pose on ourselves by not getting adequate sleep...don't allow motivational speakers make you dig your own grave. On the other hand, we all stay up at night to have access to high internet speed and as well to enjoy that our awoof data plan😉😉..you know what I'm talking about, but you will be shocked at the health threats you are imposing on yourself by doing so. It is necessary to get adequate sleep for at least 8hrs in a day most especially during the night hours. What about people with demanding jobs? It's quite understandable that there are people whose jobs demand them to stay awake all night but it's impossible not to get at least 9hrs off from work  a day.The period should be used t...

HAPPY WORLD SOIL'S DAY🌱

Image
World soil day(WSD) is held annually on 5 December as a means to focus attention on the importance of healthy soil and to advocate for the sustainable management of soil resources. The date of 5 December was chosen because it corresponds with the official birthday of the late H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej, King of Thailand, who was one of th e main proponents of this initiative. Things you should know about the soil; Soil is a living resource, home to more than 25% of our planet's biodiversity It is estimated that only 1% of soil microorganism species are currently known compared to 80% of plant species Up to 90% of living organisms live or spend part of their lifecycle in soils Soil organisms can break down certain contaminants.
